pray

Prayer makes us happy, because it unites us to God, who is infinitely happy in himself, that conveys his happiness when we communicate with Him through prayer.

So if you want to be happy in this world, we must pray. If we want to be happier still, we need to pray more, because through prayer we receive many graces and, above all, spiritual joy and consolation.

There will be hard times and sad that, as wayfarers in this world, we must necessarily pass.But how much comfort us to pray to God and the Virgin, pray to the Angels and Saints, implore the Holy Souls in Purgatory! Because all men are one body, and the Church is the communion of saints, and the grace of God and the treasures circulate throughout the body, and to deserve these gifts, we just have to open your mouth to pray and receive gifts unimaginable, because God is infinitely rich, and who prays a lot is also rich, sometimes materially, if not an obstacle to personal salvation.

Prayer gives us peace and we get timely aid of God not only for ourselves but also for those who love both, and they make our happiness. But when we see them sick or suffering, there is no better remedy for them that our prayer.

God is our Master
CONSIDERATION. - The Holy Virgin called herself the servant of the Lord; She recognizes
also by his Master and the largest compliment that can be made of the saints, that is, they
are also servants of the Lord.

efforts, everything is his master, if it is dedicated and faithful, taking to heart the interests of those it serves,

We belong to God, who created us, who redeemed us by the blood of his Son.
We are on earth to serve, that is, to fulfill the commandments given to us, work for
the glory and the salvation of our brothers and ours. Oh! How many men have been repeated in the
his heart and by his actions the dreadful word of Satan: "Non serviam", "I will not serve" and
run well, to his own condemnation!

reward.

Es Maravilloso, Señor,  

mis brazos perfectos,

se revuelven  en pesadillas

tener a Dios para creer;

poseen el consuelo de una creencia.

Es Maravilloso,

sobre todo Señor,

tener tan poco que pedir...

DÍA TERCERO (9/NOV)
Del conocimiento de Dios
CONSIDERACIÓN. – Dios se manifiesta al hombre de diversas maneras: por sus obras, en la
naturaleza; por sus profetas, en los libros santos; por sus ministros, desde lo alto de la cátedra cristiana.
María no descuidaba ningún medio de aprender a conocer al Señor y experimentaba una gran
satisfacción oyendo hablar de sus perfecciones, viendo las pruebas brillantes en las maravillas de la
creación, que eran para Ella, como un libro abierto, revelándole su sabiduría, su potencia y su bondad.
Es un deber para el cristiano, aplicarse a conocer al Señor. Si las ciencias diversas pueden ser útiles,
una sola, es absolutamente necesaria: aquella que nos hace conocer a Dios y las relaciones que nos unen a
Él. Un niño, gusta oír hablar de las grandezas de su padre y de los altos destinos que le esperan.
No descuidemos, pues, ninguna ocasión de instruirnos sobre el punto de vista religioso, escuchemos
con respeto la palabra de Dios, leamos atentamente los libros que tratan de sus perfecciones y veamos la
acción de su Providencia, lo mismo en las obras de sus manos divinas, que en los acontecimientos que se
suceden a nuestros ojos.
EJEMPLO. – Los primeros cristianos tenían tal sed de la palabra divina, que afrontaban para oírla,
los más grandes peligros. Durante las persecuciones, sólo en las catacumbas, vastos subterráneos, se
celebraba el oficio divino y los sacerdotes del Señor manifestaban su palabra; ningún obstáculo impedía a
esos hombres valientes, a aquellas débiles pero enérgicas mujeres y hasta a los niños, exponerse a la
muerte para aprender a conocer a Dios.
PLEGARIA DE SAN AGUSTÍN. - ¡Oh Dios mío! aquél que no os conoce, aunque conozca todo
aquellos que no sois Vos, es desgraciado. Mas, aquél que os conoce, aunque no conozca otra cosa, es feliz
si os ama. ¡Haced que os conozca y os ame! Así sea.
RESOLUCIÓN. – No descuidaré ninguna ocasión de aprender a conocer a mi Señor y Dios.
JACULATORIA. – María, Madre de la divina gracia, rogad por nosotros.

Se necesita valor:

Para ser lo que somos

y no pretender lo que no somos.

Para vivir honradamente dentro

de nuestros recursos y no deshonestamente

a expensas de otro.

Para decir rotunda y firmemente "no",

cuando los que nos rodean dicen que "sí".

Para negarse a hacer una cosa mala,

aunque otros la hagan.

Para pasar las veladas en casa,

tratando de aprender.

Para huir de los chismes,

cuando los demás se deleitan con ellos.

Para defender a una persona ausente,

a quien se critica abusivamente.

Para ver en las ruinas de un desastre

que nos mortifica, humilla y traba,

los elementos de un futuro éxito.

Para ser verdadero hombre o mujer

aferrados a nuestras ideas,

cuando éstas parecen ser extrañas a otros.

Para guardar silencio en ocasiones en que

una palabra nos limpiaría del mal que se dice

de nosotros, pero que perjudicaría a otra persona.

Para vestimos según nuestros ingresos,

y negarnos a lo que no podemos comprar.

Para alternar con la gente,

sin tener automóvil propio.

Creo difícil que en menos palabras

puedan reunirse tan sabios conceptos

y tan juiciosas advertencias.

Pensar un instante nada más

en cada una de ellas y procurar seguirlas,

sería sin duda una gran enseñanza.

Being a leader...

Being a leader

A human and Christian value is know to be a leader,
although we have a position with collaborators
in our business or employment. We can be leaders
in our family, in our community, in our
parish in our apostolate.

Here the differences between Head and Leader:

To the Chief, authority control is a privilege
and for the privilege of Service Leader. The Head directs:
