Today, the Gospel stands in Capernaum, where Jesus is followed by many for having seen his miracles, especially by the multiplication of the loaves spectacular. Socially, Jesus there is the risk of dying of success, as is often said, even I want to nominate King. It is a key moment in the catechesis of Jesus. It is the time when he began to exhibit clearly the supernatural dimension of your message. And, as Jesus is so good catechist, perfect priest, bishop and pope the best, let them go, feel sorrow, but He is faithful to his message, the popular success not blind.

He said a great priest who, throughout the history of the Church, who have fallen columns seemed indispensable: "He went back, and walked no more with him" (Jn 6.66). You and I can fall, "pass", march, criticizing, "go to ours." With humility and trust Jesus Tell the good we want to be faithful today, tomorrow and every day to make us see the gospel that has little sense to discuss the teachings of God or the Church because they "do not understand": "Lord, to whom shall we go?" (Jn 6:68). Pray more supernatural. Only Jesus and His Church found in the Word of eternal life: "You have the words of eternal life" (Jn 6:68).

Like Peter, we know that Jesus speaks with supernatural language, language to be tuned correctly to enter its full meaning, otherwise only hear unpleasant noises and incoherent; need to fine-tune. Like Peter, also in our Christian life we ​​have moments when we must renew and say that we are in Jesus and we want to continue with Him Peter loved Jesus Christ, so we stayed, the others wanted him for bread, by "candy" for political reasons and leave. The secret is to love loyalty, trust. Let us ask the Virgin to help us here and now to be faithful to the Church we have.
