I'm afraid to stay in the dark,
when I know that You are the Lord of the everlasting light,
I miss a lot if you are not,
and only win to lock myself.
I need you to stop, Lord;
You know that my voice is not always heard.
That my life is indifferent to many people.
I'm worth little or nothing, and that in many instances,
I prefer darkness to light.
Will stop you, Lord?
Do I will grant a minute of your time eternal?
Can I speak with words of love?
Will you show me the path that leads to your presence?
Do not pass, Lord!
I'll get up, you see.
Scream for you to hear me.
Insist, to answer me.
Long ago, Lord, that I feel this way:
Looking for you to tell you about mine.
Asking for you to know more about you.
Wanting to leave many dark corners.
Wanting to see, with the eyes of the Gospel.
Do not pass, Lord!
Come and you'll soon know, I am a poor man.
That, believing see, I need to discover the most important.
Which, thinking about everything, sometimes essentially escapes me.
That, believing love, I do it my way.
That being sure of myself, I'm drifting boat.
So, like Bartimaeus, Lord, I say:
Have mercy on me!
Have some passion for my life,
to make it a little brighter and simple
enlightened by truth and founded on justice.
Have some passion for my soul, Lord,
and it all disappears fold or wrinkle.
Have some passion for my voice, Lord,
and that is strong and firm to proclaim
that only You Lord, who are serving humanity
who listens to humanity,
as God intended.
