"The size of the people"



Sizes vary according to the degree of commitment ...

A person is huge for one, when he speaks of what he read and lived, when treated with love and respect, when you look into his eyes and innocent smiles.

Is small when one thinks of itself, when behaves ungracious, when it fails just when it should show what is most important between two people: friendship, affection, respect, zeal and also love.

A person is huge when your life is concerned, when you search for your growth alternatives when you dream together.

A person is great when you forgive, when understood, when placed in the other's place, when he acts, not according to what they expect from it, but according to what he expects of herself.

A person is small when allowed behaviors governed by clichés. The same person may appear to greatness or smallness within a relationship can grow or shrink in a space of a few weeks.

A disappointment can decrease the size of a love that seemed to be great. An absence may increase the size of a love that seemed to be negligible.

It is difficult to live with this elasticity: people grow uncontrollably and shrink our eyes. Our judgment is made​​, not by centimeters and meters, but of actions and reactions, expectations and frustrations.

A person is only to reach out and picking up unexpectedly becomes another. Selfishness unifies insignificant. Not the height, or weight, or the muscles that become a big person ... is its sensitivity, not size.

Knowing suffer


In the cathedral of Reims is a real angel
singular: shredded, destroyed, streaked
scars and wounds. With the passage of time
is out of a wing, but
amazing what this angel is that despite
all injuries, smiles as he looks at.

Jesus teaches us to smile from our
suffering, namely carry like Him
According to the Gospel, Christ through towns
and villages, teaching, and healing every disease
and disease, spread his fame, and brought him
all suffering any harm:
the attack of various diseases
and pains, demoniacs, epileptics
and the paralyzed, all healed (Mt 8,16).

People admired him and exclaimed:

But Jesus knew in his flesh the rejection

"My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mt 27.46).

The human being is revealed against suffering

of all guilt and nightmares.

The fear of what might happen paralyzes
the person to trust God.
One of the best recipes for any
Suffering is trust Him, abandoned

the end of our day, whatever happens.

What is suffering?
C. S. Lewis said that "pain is the speaker
of God to a deaf world. " God wants
speak, but the pleasure, spring life,
the triumphs ... prevent us from listening.

Indeed, many people face a difficulty,

on projects that truly worthwhile.
Pain makes us pay attention
to the essential and important.

Suffering can play an important role
growth in humans.

Faith, prayer, patience, joy,
hope and looking to the sky
can help us to accept our suffering.

Knowing suffer and have
the soul strong and tanned
what matters is to know.
The science of suffering
is the science of life.
There is no way to know suffering
pain with fortitude,
to see combat.
That pain is the best

Mes de la Virgen María...

DÍA NOVENO (15/NOV)
El trabajo
CONSIDERACIÓN. – Cuando el primer hombre hubo pecado, Dios le impuso como uno de los
castigos por su falta, la necesidad de trabajar: “Ganarás el pan con el sudor de tu frente –le dijo-, la tierra
no producirá sola, sino zarzas y espinas”.
Esta obligación es general, cualquiera que sea el sitio donde la Divina Providencia nos haya
colocado. El fastidio, la pena, la fatiga, que encontremos en el trabajo, no deben sorprendernos, ni
descorazonarnos, porque el trabajo es una expiación.
Si algunas veces hallamos un cierto placer en nuestros trabajos, es Dios, que en su bondad, nos
ayuda a cumplir nuestra tarea.
El Divino Maestro, ha santificado esta labor cotidiana, de la cual algunas veces nos quejamos: Dios
ha sido obrero, se ha ocupado de duros trabajos y María, hija de reyes y que debía ser un día Reina de los
Ángeles, estuvo sometida a la misma ley. La tradición nos la representa, bien hilando o tejiendo las telas
necesarias para sus vestidos o los de su Hijo; o bien, ocupándose en los humildes quehaceres de su casa.
Elevemos muchas veces los ojos hacia la Santa Familia de Nazaret, cuando nos sintamos agobiados
por la duración o la aridez de nuestro trabajo y pidámosle que nos ayude a imitarla.
EJEMPLO. - San Silvano, que habitaba en el monte Sinaí con sus religiosos, recibió un día la visita
de un ermitaño, quien, al ver a los monjes trabajando, se sorprendió.
-¿Por qué –les dijo- trabajáis con tanto ardor para procuraros un alimento material? ¿María no ha
tomado la mejor parte? ¿Y Marta no fue reprendida por el Señor, a causa de su ocupación?
Sin responder a esta interpelación, San Silvano hizo dar un libro al ermitaño extranjero y le asignó
una celda deshabitada.
A las tres horas de la tarde, el ermitaño, se extrañó de que nadie lo hubiese llamado a comer, esperó
hasta el momento en que no pudo resistir el hambre que le atormentaba y entonces fue en busca del abad
Silvano.
-Padre, le dijo, ¿los monjes no comen hoy?
El abad le respondió que todos ya lo habían hecho.
-¿Y cómo no me habéis invitado a participar de vuestro alimento?
-¡Cómo! respondióle San Silvano sonriendo, es porque como María, vos pretendéis haber tomado la
mejor parte.
Vos miráis el trabajo como innecesario y es probable que no viváis, por supuesto, más que de
alimento espiritual.
En cuanto a nosotros, que estamos revestidos de un cuerpo, estamos condenados a alimentarnos, y,
por consiguiente, a conservar la vida para poder trabajar.
El ermitaño pidióle perdón, por haberse permitido una censura tan desconsiderada.
-Me siento feliz de que reconozcáis vuestro error, agregó San Silvano con benevolencia. De paso,
veo que María tuvo necesidad de la ayuda de Marta.
Si Marta no hubiera trabajado, María no habría podido reposar a los pies de Jesús.
ORACIÓN. – Os suplicamos, ¡oh María! que no nos abandonéis en los trabajos de esta vida. Vos,
que habéis querido someteros a la ley común del trabajo, haced que, a vuestro ejemplo, aceptemos con
resignación las fatigas y sufrimientos, que son el resultado del pecado y que, de este modo, podamos
adquirir verdaderos méritos a los ojos del Señor. Así sea.
RESOLUCIÓN. – Huiré de la ociosidad, como de un gran mal.
JACULATORIA. – Madre admirable, rogad por nosotros.
