Letter to the men and women in Advent

Dear men and women:
I have heard your cry of Advent.
Is before me.
Your cry continually hit my door.
Today I want to talk to you for repienses your call.
Today I want to say: Why God questions?
What does God expect?
What has come to seek and to see in the desert?

Listen to your God, woman and man of Advent:
"Do not call the door of a god that does not exist
of a god than you know ...
If you wait ... Open to the surprise of God coming,
and not the god that you make yourself ...

You, man and woman, all have
always the same temptation:
making a god in your own image.
I tell you, I God of the living,
I am a God beyond your inventions.

Ye out to see where God is ...
I say, "here is" but you see,
and you feel discouraged
because God is not where you have been told ...
And God is alive, but you
United have no mentality:
no you discover God in simplicity.
I think simple is too little
that there is God.
Understand this: I, the Lord God,
I'm in the simple and small ...

Men and women of today and always:
leaves room to your God in your heart.
I can only be born and grow where my word is received.
Do you stay calm, doing-what to do-
because by doing the usual things-
avoiding the newness of the Gospel.

But I tell you that your heart is closed,
and your eyes unable to see the road
where I come.
Do not defend yourself like you always do.
Do not hide under empty rituals.
Man and woman, if I wait,
you make me leave the road
and get in the way
I point at the mouth of the prophets.
Open your heart to my word.
I, your God, will speak.

Hombre y mujer...

Carta al hombre y la mujer en Adviento

Querido hombre y mujer:

He escuchado tu grito de Adviento.

Está delante de mí.

Tu grito, golpea continuamente a mi puerta.

Hoy quisiera hablar contigo para que repienses tu llamada.

Hoy te quiero decir: ¿Por qué Dios preguntas?

¿A qué Dios esperas?

¿Qué has salido a buscar y a ver en el desierto?

Escucha a tu Dios, mujer y hombre  de Adviento:

"No llames a la puerta de un dios que no existe,

de un dios que tú te imaginas...

Si esperas... ábrete a la sorpresa del Dios que viene,

y no del dios que tú te haces...

Tú, hombre y mujer,  todos, tenéis

siempre la misma tentación:

hacer un dios a vuestra imagen.

Yo os digo, Yo Dios de vivos,

soy un Dios más allá de vuestras invenciones.

Vosotros salís a ver donde está Dios...

os dicen: "aquí está” pero no lo veis,

y os sentís desanimados

porque Dios no está donde os han dicho...

Y Dios está vivo, pero vosotros

no tenéis mentalidad de Reino:

no descubrís a Dios en lo sencillo.

Os parece que lo sencillo es demasiado poco

para que allí esté Dios.

Sabedlo: Yo, el Señor Dios,

estoy en lo sencillo y pequeño...

Hombre y mujer  de hoy y de siempre:

deja espacio a tu Dios dentro de tu corazón.

Sólo puedo nacer y crecer donde mi Palabra es acogida.

Qué tranquilo te quedas, haciendo –lo que hay que hacer–

porque –haciendo las cosas de siempre–

evitas la novedad del Evangelio.

Pero Yo te digo que tu corazón queda cerrado,

y tus ojos incapaces de ver el camino

por donde Yo llego.

No te defiendas como haces siempre.

No te escondas bajo ritos vacíos.

Hombre y mujer, si me esperas,

deja de hacerme tú el camino

y ponte en el camino que

Yo te señalo por boca de los profetas.

Abre el corazón a mi Palabra.

Yo, tu Dios, te hablo.

Words of Jesús...

Words of Jesus

The Son reveals the Father.

All things have been delivered by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. (Mt 11, 27).

comment:

To God alone can know God. That is, that God, who is infinite, can only be known in perfection by the same God, Himself.

But Jesus tells us, as a promise you, that we, his friends, He will show us the Father. And again we are told that we must be perfect as the Father is perfect.

Then, by the grace of God, we shall be like God, because God will give us the ability to become one. And so it will plug the mouth of the devil, who in heaven tempted our first parents promising to be as gods if tasted the forbidden fruit. But God gives us to be like him really, by the way of grace and obedience to His Word, His Word.

We must come to Jesus to know God, to know the Father, because only Jesus, the Son knows the Father, and the Son who we can reveal if we are faithful in following.

Jesus, I trust in You.

Palabras de Jesús

El Hijo revela al Padre. 

Todo me ha sido entregado por mi Padre, y nadie conoce al Hijo sino el Padre, ni al Padre le conoce nadie sino el Hijo, y aquel a quien el Hijo se lo quiera revelar. (Mt 11, 27). 

Comentario: 

A Dios solo lo puede conocer Dios. Es decir, que Dios, que es infinito, sólo puede ser conocido en perfección por el mismo Dios, por Sí mismo.

Pero Jesús ya nos dice, como una promesa suya, que a nosotros, sus amigos, Él nos dará a conocer al Padre. Y en otra parte nos ha dicho que debemos ser perfectos como perfecto es el Padre.

Entonces, por gracia de Dios, seremos semejantes a Dios, porque Dios mismo nos dará la capacidad de llegar a serlo. Y así se le tapará la boca al demonio, que en el paraíso tentó a nuestros primeros padres prometiéndoles que serían como dioses si probaban el fruto prohibido. Pero Dios, nos regala el ser semejantes a Él realmente, por el camino de la gracia y de la obediencia a su Palabra, a su Verbo.

Debemos ir a Jesús para conocer a Dios, para conocer al Padre, porque sólo Jesús, el Hijo, conoce al Padre, y es el Hijo quien nos lo puede revelar si somos fieles en seguirle.

Jesús, en Vos confío.
