Tiempo perdido

¿Tiempo perdido?

Es aquel en el cual no nos entusiasma ya nada,

ni disfrutamos tampoco de nada, ni amamos a nadie.

¿Tiempo perdido?

Aquél en el cual cruzamos por un lugar o un momento,

sin tener plenamente conciencia de ello por estar

siempre añorando al otro tiempo: al ya muerto,

o preocupándonos por aquél que aún no ha nacido.

¿Tiempo perdido?

Aquél en el cual no se aprende ya nada,

ni damos nada, ni esperamos nada de nadie;
aquél que construimos con mil esperanzas amortajadas

o tan sólo un intento fallido.

¿Tiempo perdido?

Aquél en el cual nos culpamos de todo, odiamos a todos

y sufrimos de todo, permitiendo que un estúpido miedo

o un abrupto enojo nos convierta en un individuo vencido.

¿Tiempo perdido?

Aquél que, de repente y sin darnos cuenta,

ya se ha ido por guardar avariciosamente
una espontánea sonrisa, un dulce “te quiero”,

un esperado perdón o un olvido.

¿Tiempo perdido?

Aquél en el cual decidimos guardar tras un viejo armario

el respeto a los demás o a nosotros mismos y en el que,

además, cínicamente gritamos: “¡que bien a mí me ha ido!”

¿Tiempo perdido?

Aquél que se aparece en el umbral de nuestra muerte

y al cual le echamos la culpa de todo lo que fallamos

o de la mala suerte, en vez de reconocer que a Dios

lo pusimos siempre de lado y en un lugar escondido.

¿Tiempo perdido?

Aquél que, tú y yo, permitamos que siga fluyendo

sin mayor conciencia, amor o esfuerzo,

evitando de esa forma que nuestro ser pueda

al cien por ciento vivirlo.

The sin of the world is very large and is necessary for Christians to do penance for our own sins and for the sins of mankind. And how much penance and even when to do it? We must do much penance and to the end of our lives, because the needs of souls are very large, and we, with our sacrifices repair attract God's mercy in abundance over the world.
They say that when we die, our pride dies a few minutes later. And beyond this joke, the truth is that sin and temptation will be with us until the end of our days. Therefore it is necessary to do penance at the time of our death.
Never lose weapons of prayer and penance, because until we are safe and in Heaven, there is always danger, because life itself is endangered, since we are not confirmed in grace and the devil is very cunning, and we can set an ambush for which sometimes we are not ready.
Let us repair, because we only have this life to do it, and so much time discounting Purgatory for us and for souls, and get the conversion and salvation of many of our brothers.
