Daily living...
Daily living
Do not lose the joy.
With all the things happening in the world, in our lives and the lives of those we love, we can be that we lose the joy. And that's exactly what you are looking for the devil, because without joy is like we are without spiritual engine, and are very likely to fall into grievous sins, or at least stay killed and harmless to the devil.
As St. Francis de Sales said that "a saint sad is a sad saint" and St. Teresa of Jesus was concerned when her sisters were sad.
It's good that there are many reasons to be sad. But do not let the sadness we messed ie do not let that stop us from fulfilling our obligations and duties well, because there would already be a mess.
The devil seeks by all means bring us down, sadden, with situations and problems, real or apparent, exaggerating things and making things future project that may never occur.
We must be careful and if sadness comes, we have to think about the resurrection of the Lord, that He is present in our midst. Let us sing joyful songs to the Virgin and to God. Pray the Rosary, especially the glorious mysteries. And especially think in Heaven that awaits us, and that we can live from the land, because the evil and the evil are temporary, while the Joy of God abides forever.
And consider what it says also San Juan Bosco, deep knowledge of the evil spirit and heart of man: "The devil is afraid of gay people."
The secret to always be happy internally, is to think that God loves us always, and that whatever happens, God has allowed, is for good. This means that trust in God is what gives us joy. The happy soul is the soul that trusts in God. The more confident, happier, because he knows he is in the hands of an infinitely good God who cares for all, even in the smallest details.
In the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Palabra del Señor...
"...cuando tú des limosna que tu mano izquierda ignore lo que hace tu derecha para que tu limosna quede en lo secreto y tu Padre que ve en lo secreto, te recompensará..." (Mt 6, 3-4)
"... when thou doest alms your left hand know what your right so that your alms may be in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you ..." (Mt 6, 3-4)
"... when thou doest alms your left hand know what your right so that your alms may be in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you ..." (Mt 6, 3-4)
The yoke of the Lord...
The yoke of the Lord is bearable
I. Jesus tells us in the Gospel of the Mass: Come to me all who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11, 28-30). The heaviest burdens of men are sins in Confession frees us through the forgiveness of the same, because even venial sins, overwhelm and oppress. In this sacrament we leave restored, ready to fight again full of peace. The Lord, in exchange for these burdens of sin, pride, lack of generosity ... invites us to share his yoke. It is a sweet burden that part of the Cross that we have to carry each. Together with Christ, the difficulties we encounter in life take on a different meaning. Instead of being "our cross" become the Cross of Christ with whom corredimimos, purified grow our faults and virtues. The road closely follows the footsteps of Christ is full of joy, optimism and peace, even if we are always close to the Cross.
II. While we are on earth we have difficulties as normal. San Pedro and warned the early Christians: Beloved, when God will try the fire of tribulation, not strange concerning what happened unto you as if something very extraordinary (1 P 4, 12). The Lord often allows the contradiction comes on those who most want to bear more fruit still: and every branch that attached to the vine gives more fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit (John 15, 2). But Jesus never leaves us alone, Jesus is always with yours, especially when more weight is life. If you ever run into a setback bigger, so the Lord will give us a greater grace.
III. The Lord only goods reach us. When you allow the pain, the disappointment, family or financial problems, is that you want something better for us. One day, Santa Teresa in the middle of a catastrophe he claimed the Master: "Lord, among so much damage and this is me!" And Jesus answered him, "Teresa and I treated my friends". And the Lord, full of wit and love, he replied: "Oh, Lord, why have so few!" (M. AUCLAIR, The Life of St. Teresa) Lord wants to relocate the contradictions in peace, vigor, with joy and confidence in him as did the saints, with simplicity and humility to not invent problems and pain: we are children of God, we will never lack the grace to cope with the greater good. In the midst of difficulties, with great trust in the Lord, also let us go to Santa Maria, refugium nostrum et virtus, refuge and our strength, and what seemed so expensive we will be more bearable

† Saints
San Alejo
Beggar
Century V
He was the son of a wealthy Roman senator. He was born and spent his youth in Rome. His parents taught him the word and example that helps spread the poor become treasures in heaven and serve to erase sins. So very young Alexius distributed among the needy getting much money, and many other kinds of support, and this brought many blessings from God.
But arriving at twenty realized that life in a very rich family and very worldly society brought him many dangers to his soul, and fled the house, dressed as a beggar and went to Syria.
In Syria he spent 17 years dedicated to the worship and penance, and begged for him and the other very needy. It was so holy that people called him "the man of God." What he wanted was to preach the virtue of poverty and virtue of humility. But suddenly a very spiritual person told the people that this beggar so poor, the son of a rich family, and he fearing that honors paid to him, he fled to Syria and returned to Rome.
He came home to his parents in Rome to ask for a trade, and they did not realize that this beggar was his own son. He spent the lowest drudgery, and so he spent another 17 years sleeping under a ladder, holding on and working and did penance, and offered his humiliations for sinners.
It happened finally got sick and muribundo and sent for his humble hovel, under the stairs, their parents, and told them that he was her son, who had chosen that tremendous penance lifestyle. The two old men crying and hugged him helped him die well.
After death began to get many miracles for those who were entrusted to him. In Rome, he built a temple and the Church of the East, especially in Syria, he had great devotion.
The teaching of the life of St. Alexius is that to get the humility needed humiliations. Pride is a sin very own spiritual souls, and they humiliate us accepting away. Even the people who are most concerned with good works have to fight against pride because if allowed to grow will ruin his holiness. The pride lurks even among the best actions we do, and if we are not alert sterilized our apostolate. A great saint once rebuked a disciple to be very proud, and he told her: "Father, I'm not proud." The saint replied, "That's your worst danger, you are proud, and you realize you are proud."
Life of St. Alexius is for us an invitation to try to get through this land without seeking honors and praises vain, and then will come in each that which Christ promised: "He who humbles himself will be exalted."
Jesus said, "The last shall be first. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matt. 5)
