Reflejo

Mira atentamente a tu alrededor.

¿Qué es lo que ves?

Mucho de lo que ves, es un reflejo

de tus propias creencias y expectativas.

Todo lo que experimentas pasa primero

por el filtro de tu actitud ante la vida.

Es por eso que una persona puede ver

belleza y oportunidades en la misma situación

en la que otra sólo ve desesperación

y falta de posibilidades.

Los defectos que ves en los demás son,

de alguna manera, también los tuyos.

Si así no fuera, realmente no podrías

reconocerlos o comprenderlos.

La belleza que ves en los demás

también está dentro de ti.

Porque la belleza no está únicamente

en la persona u objeto que tú percibes,

sino también en quién la percibe.

El mundo que te rodea es un espejo y,

cuando pones tu mejor cara frente

a un espejo, lo que ves te agrada.

Ten la firme expectativa de vivir

en un mundo pleno de belleza,

bienestar y oportunidades, y allí

es exactamente donde estarás.

Palabras de Jesús

Para nosotros. 

Entonces se puso a reprender a las ciudades en las que se habían realizado la mayoría de sus milagros, porque no se habían convertido: “¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Betsaida! Porque si en Tiro y en Sidón se hubieran hecho los milagros que se han hecho en ustedes, tiempo ha que con vestido de penitencia y ceniza se habrían convertido. Por eso les digo que el día del Juicio habrá menos rigor para Tiro y Sidón que para ustedes”. (Mt 11, 20-22). 

Comentario: 

Si bien estas palabras fueron dirigidas en aquella ocasión por el Señor para estas ciudades, eso no quita que también Jesús las haya dicho, y las diga actualmente, para nosotros, católicos, que hemos tenido tanto de Dios, y que hemos dado tan pocos frutos en lo individual y en lo colectivo.

Si los paganos hubieran recibido todo lo que los católicos hemos recibido a través de la Iglesia, entonces tal vez serían muy santos, más que nosotros.

Que esto nos lleve a un gran sentimiento de humildad y a aprovechar los dones de Dios, para darnos cuenta de que tenemos una inmensa riqueza que no podemos acaparar para nosotros solos, sino que debemos comunicarla a otros, porque la salvación es para todos, y Cristo nos quiere utilizar como dóciles instrumentos para acrecentar el Reino de Dios.

Obremos nuestra salvación con temor y temblor, dándonos cuenta de que hemos recibido mucho de Dios, y que tenemos que devolver mucho. ¡Ay de nosotros si somos perezosos o indolentes, porque nuestra condenación en el Infierno será especialmente cruel, ya que tuvimos tantos dones y gracias de parte de Dios, y no nos convertimos ni nos hicimos santos!

Jesús, en Vos confío.

at risk of falling back.
Because faith is put God
in the proper place.
Because faith is light peek where some
insist on nailing shadows.

Give me faith, Lord.
And, when some or give me up for dead,
cry me to the depths of my consciousness:
To you I say!Arise!
So that, in that way, see
your invisible presence is more
powerful than ever visible;
Your voice is soothing and healthy authority wounds;
your path is not indifferent to who looks
with love and caresses you with faith.

¿Cómo vencer al demonio?

Silencio. 

Un error que cometió Eva en el Paraíso, fue ponerse a dialogar con el Tentador. Y este es el error que a veces podemos cometer nosotros cuando nos sobreviene una tentación, nos ponemos a dialogar con ella, y así terminamos cayendo miserablemente. Porque el demonio es muy inteligente y sólo Dios le puede vencer.

Por eso ante las tentaciones del diablo debemos permanecer en silencio, y sólo abrir la boca para orar, para pronunciar los sagrados nombres de Jesús y de María. Por ejemplo podemos decir el acto de amor enseñado por Jesús a Sor Consolata Betrone: “Jesús, María os amo, salvad las almas”. Y entonces el demonio huirá de nosotros, porque no soporta estos nombres.

Pero lo más importante es guardar silencio, no ponernos a cavilar con la tentación ni a argumentar, porque el diablo es astuto y vencería él porque es fuerte su lógica.

Lo mismo sucede en las tentaciones contra la fe, que nos perdemos en razonamientos, en lugar de aceptar con fe y sencillez las verdades reveladas aunque no las entendamos.

Y tenemos que llamar a Dios en nuestro auxilio.

Por lo tanto silencio y oración para salir vencedores de todas las tentaciones de Satanás.
