Risen Christ Prayer

Lord Jesus:
Our soul suddenly jumps into cosmic space
knowing that You have risen and that, someday,
all of us will continue.

We know well the enormous measure love of the Father,
we want eternal and whole body and soul, thanks
your glorious Resurrection. But our common Father
wants our salvation and our faithfulness.

We had mixed feelings, and perhaps somewhat confusing-
through your suffering in the Passion. It is outrageous that the Son of God,
the Second Person of the Trinity, through whom all things were made,
joins in the full penalty of the Cross and see abandoned by all.

It's not easy to get used and not easy also assume
la-that we-complicity in perpetrating this crime
heinous and nefarious. As the wicked tenants of the vineyard
we were able, with our sins, to kill the
Son of the owner of the vineyard. That brings us sorrow and confusion.

But there comes the light of Easter, the first return of the Lord Jesus
and with it the promise of future happiness authentic and eternal.
Doubts and contradictory feelings will turn
in boundless joy.

And every time we witness the holy night of the Easter Vigil
-And the celebrations continue with joy after-grow
a little more cheerful in the knowledge of our destiny
Sons of God.

I wish I never forget! Hopefully communicate our
joy to a sad world by permanent and continuous bad sin!

We're going to ask, Risen Lord, for peace in the world,
because they follow neither war nor terrorism. That dialogue
replace arms and love of violence.

This, today, it seems, Lord Jesus, a utopia, but also
some, now two thousand years ago, you seemed Resurrection
a utopia. And it was nothing but a definitive victory over
death which is what we need today.

Death shows its sting in too many places and not,
precisely, as the end of a cycle. Is death
produced by indifference, injustice and oppression.

But the hope that the prophecies are fulfilled peaceful
Isaiah lives in us. We know that one day it will be well and that
nozzles shall pruners and play Venomous Snake
with the little boy.

We are sure that peace, love and happiness
reign one day with us. The Kingdom could be built
real this time and that Kingdom will come if we are
able to believe that you, Lord, have risen.

Our fragility needs your help, your strength
and your love. Do not abandon us. Neither ever let
get separated from you. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
