Mt 11, 25-27.

A small.

Jesus said, I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because, having hidden these things from the wise and prudent, revealed them to little ones. Yes, Father, for so it pleased you. Everything has been given by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal.

Reflection:

So while we have not done Bible courses or theology studies, perhaps because they are small and simple we can better understand the Gospel more than one that is swollen with their science.

It pleases God to reveal small, so choose the simple and those who are kids at heart or old.

Above all we must preserve the virtue of purity of mind, body and heart, because children are pure and if God is revealed to them and those like them is because they are pure, because as one of the Beatitudes: Blessed the pure in heart for they shall see God.

Since this land and God will know. For though God the Father alone can perfectly know the Son, being God the Father and the Son may reveal small knowledge of the Father, and this is achieved only if we are pure.

Miracles.

Jesus began to berate those cities where he had performed more miracles, because they had become. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles done among you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have long since become, putting sackcloth and covering with ash. I assure you, on the day of Judgment, Tyre and Sidon will be treated less rigorously than you. And you, Capernaum, do you think you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be precipitated into hell. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, the city still exist. I assure you, on the day of judgment, the land of Sodom is treated less rigorously than you. "

Reflection:

Serious words of Jesus to the cities, despite his having seen so many miracles, did penance and be converted.

And something similar can happen to us Catholics, because we have so many miracles of the Lord among us: the Eucharist, the Mass, Confession, all the sacraments, the Pope is infallible when teaching faith and morals, etc.., Etc. And sometimes it happens that's still not enough to be better, to become closer to the Lord, earnestly trying to be kinder, to be holy.

Consider that to whom more is given, much will be required. This is not to scare but to become aware that God has given us and we are very, very much, and we should be entitled too much.

Today is the Memorial of Our Lady of Carmen. At a time of great distress for the Carmelite Order, St. Simon Stock begged the Mother of God to give him a sign of His protection.
